Forget it Real Madrid: Hazard to sign new contract at Chelsea

According to various reports, Eden Hazard is poised to sign a new £200k five-year contract to give Chelsea a cracking Christmas present. Although the offer has been on the table for three months, it's believed that it will be concluded soon!This is great news for all of us. Hazard is already world class and putting himself right up there behind the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Working with Mourinho and his technical staff here at Chelsea, Hazard has everything he needs to continue to develop and I am sure this is the major reason why it looks like he is willing to commit his future.Of course he will forever be linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona but if we can get him signed as quickly as possible, it is going to take a world record transfer fee to then prize him away from Stamford Bridge.Reports this week claimed that Real Madrid are looking to offload Gareth Bale to Manchester United for around £90m to fund a move for Hazard as early as this summer. A new contract should blow anything like that out of the water which is great news.Season on season Hazard has continued to improve and to grow as a footballer. Now he has much more influence in games and credit to him.If have said it before and will say it again.
