Mario Mandzukic scored his first goal for his new club Atletico Madrid in the 2nd minute to win them the Spanish Super Cup beating the star-studded Real Madrid side 2-1 on aggregate.

The first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu had finished 1-1 with goals from James Rodriguez and Raul Garcia.

The Croatian striker’s goal blew the roof at the Vicente Calderón as he latched onto a defensive error from a long ball from goalkeeper Moya.

Ronaldo was on the bench for the visitors while wantaways Angel Di Maria and Samie Khedira weren't in the squad.
