Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has been photographed with a cigarette in his mouth for the second time in nine months in a hotel in Las Vegas. The England star had been photographed smoking outside a pub in October last year which prompted reactions from the football world and social media alike. His manager Arsene Wenger had expressed disappointment at his behaviour back then.
"I disagree completely with that behaviour,"
"I don't know really what happened, I will need to have a chat with him about that.
"There are two things: first of all when you are a football player you are an example and as well you don't do what damages your health.
"The fact [is] that you can damage your health at home, you can smoke at home and you can drink at home, and nobody sees it, but when you go out socially you as well damage your reputation as an example." Wenger had said at that time.
Wilshere himself had admitted to his mistake.
"I made a mistake. Players make mistakes. I am not a smoker, so I think that will be my last one." the Arsenal midfielder whom his manager had once likened to Zidane had said.
He had tweeted the following when the news had broken out
England goalkeeper Joe Hart was also believed to be present with Wilshere at the hotel. This is likely to infuriate Wenger as Arsenal look to build on their FA Cup success last season with a busy transfer window ahead and this incident looking like an unnecessary distraction.
