Bordeaux are set to begin their Ligue 1 campaign from 13 August at home against Saint-Etienne. The first match would be crucial for both the teams as they both would want to get off to a winning start. Menez is a very important player for them this season who needs to recover as soon as possible .

The new season would be a test for their new signings. Bordeaux have made six signings in the window and Jeremy Menez is their latest. The French attacker has previously played for top European clubs like AS Roma, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan before joining Bordeaux. Bordeaux is his 4th league 1 club after Sochaux, Monaco and PSG.

We need to wait and watch how much time it takes for Menez to recover from his injury and how the season turns out to be for Bordeaux. The Ligue 1 club finished 11th in the previous campaign and would target the European spots for the upcoming campaign.
