Jose Mourinho feels no one is as good as Eden Hazard in the Premier League

Chelsea’s manager Jose Mourinho believes Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League at the moment. The Portuguese manager even went on to say that there was no one in the league who could even be compared to him.

Mourinho’s statement is not without proof as Hazard has been crucial in Chelsea’s current season, and has helped them by scoring 12 times in 30 matches. Chelsea who are currently on top of the league table, are seven points clear of their closest competitors, with a game in hand.

"I think what he's doing, speaking in a very honest way, it shouldn't even be a debate," Mourinho said.

"If somebody throws other names on the table, it's because he wants to sell papers, wants to throw some sand into people's eyes, because this player [Hazard] is by far the best player in the Premier League all season."

The 24-year-old signed for Chelsea from Lille in 2012 for a fee of £32 million, and has recently signed a new contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge till 2021.

Hazard is one of the most loved players in the Premier League and is expected to be an integral member of Chelsea squad for many years to come. The Belgian though, as has been his wont this season, will only be hoping to be an asset to his team in the match against QPR on Sunday.
