Jose Mourinho: I feel sorry for David Moyes

Jose Mourinho feels sorry for David Moyes

Jose Mourinho, the man who is never short of words, was taciturn on being asked about the sacking of David Moyes.

In an interview in Madrid, just before the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League semi-final clash against Atletico Madrid, he was not ready to comment on this issue and felt sorry about the sacking of David Moyes by saying,” I prefer not to comment. I feel sorry for him (David Moyes), but prefer not to comment.”

David Moyes was sacked on 22 Apr, 2014 by Manchester United, exactly the same date as in 2013 when the Red Devils clinched the League title.

On being asked for his opinion on the impossible task of filling Sir Alex Ferguson boots, he replied,” No comments…I just feel sorry for David Moyes, just like I feel sorry for every other manager who loses his job, but I prefer not to comment.”

The Chelsea manager is also one of the probable candidates on Manchester United’s list to replace Sir Alex Ferguson.
