Reports suggest Brazilian legend Kaka has joined newly formed MLS club Orland City for their inaugural season of 2015 from Italian club AC Milan.
The Brazil superstar has been linked with the American club for a long time because of his ties with the club owner Falavio Augusto da Silva.
Though the reports says an agreement has taken place, the 2007 Ballon D’Or winner is yet to sign the contract.
If Orlando City sign Kaka, then they would recruit one of the most successful players ever in the history of football and would give the debutant club a huge marketing boost.
The 2002 FIFA World Cup winner has played for two of the biggest clubs in the world in AC Milan and Real Madrid. He was the top scorer of the 2006/07 UEFA Champions League, the year he won it with the Italian club.
Kaka joined AC Milan from Sao Paulo in 2003 for 8.5 million and in 2009 made the switch to La Liga when he signed for Real Madrid for €65 million. However he fell out of favour under manager Jose Mourinho and was often relegated to the bench living under the shadow of another superstar Cristiano ROnaldo.
