Kevin De Bruyne may return to Premier League in 2015

Kevin De Bruyne might play in one of the Premier League’s top clubs soon

Kevin De Bruyne may be moving back to the Premier League at the end of the season. The highly rated Belgian International who recently moved out of Chelsea because of not getting enough play time, has been in sensational form ever since his exit from Stamford Bridge.

He is one of the top players in the Bundesliga this year, and has piqued the attention of several teams all over the continent. He has scored 14 goals for Wolfsburg this season, and has assisted 24 times.

De Bruyne’s future at Wolfsburg though is dependent on whether or not the team qualifies for Champions League, and he is still open to going back to playing in Premier League.

Manchester clubs and Chelsea monitoring De Bruyne situation

Manchester United and Manchester City are two teams that are leading the chase to sign De Bruyne, along with his former team Chelsea. While both the teams from Manchester would be good options for him, one might think joining Chelsea would be repeating a mistake.

Representatives of the player have said that he won’t be staying at Wolfsburg forever and will eventually be moving out. An Europa League victory and a finish in the top four in the Bundesliga can guarantee the Belgian’s future at the club, but in case they fail it is highly likely that De Bruyne will join a team that are challenging for the Champions League title.

While Wolfsburg bought the 23-year-old for £18 million, his current price is estimated to be around £40 million, according to his agent Patrick de Koster.

While speaking last week, Koster said: “Clubs who are ready to bid 30 million euros for Kevin have no sense of reality. A player like Kevin has a market value of some €50 million, €55 million or even €60 million by now.”
