Kutschke telling the referee he slipped and it was not a foul

This is something rare.

In a Bundesliga match over the weekend, Borussia Monchengladbach's Christoph Kramer got a yellow card for fouling Paderborn's Stefan Kutschke, according to the referee. But teplays showed that Kramer hadn’t touched the opponent and Kutschke had slipped, confirmed minutes later by the forward who successfully managed to get the yellow card rescinded and the match resumed with a dropped ball.

The visiting Monchengladbach side won 2-1.

"There was no challenge," the forward said after the match. "I slipped on the turf and I pointed that out to the referee. But then I saw that Christoph Kramer was shown a yellow card and I said – no, that wasn't a foul."
