The Spanish giants Barcelona FC who are, at this moment, at the top of the La Liga table may have already come up with their next home-kit.
Barcelona recently faced Atletico Madrid in a tough match which ended 2-1 in the Catalan’s favour. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez scored the goals for Barcelona and Koke netted in the goal for Atletico. With this win Barca moved to the top of the league with fifty one points in twenty one matches played.
Atletico remain in the second position with forty-eight points, one point ahead of Real Madrid in the third place. Lionel Messi is enjoying a great scoring streak as he found the back of the net in four consecutive league games (a total of six goals).
Luis Suarez is currently at the top of the goal scoring list (tied with Christiano Ronaldo) in Spanish League with nineteen goals and Neymar leads the assists chart with nine assists. With stats like this Barcelona is probably the topmost contender of the Spanish League title. If things go right, they might even end up with another Champions League trophy.
So time has come to take a look at what the probable champions will be wearing next season. A picture of the home kit for 2016/17 season for the Catalan’s was leaked recently. From the picture it seems that Barcelona is going to go back to their roots with the familiar vertical stripes.
This season they experimented with horizontal stripes. However the primary colours have remained the same. The photo was published by the very reliable Todo Sobre Camisetas. Whether this is the actual jersey for next season is yet to be seen but the source in this context is usually always correct.
