2nd April, 2015 – Pune, India: After a remarkable conclusion to the trials in Goa, Liverpool Football Club (LFC) International Academy – DSK Shivajians are all set to begin their second leg of scouting in Pune. The first leg of scouting in Goa received a phenomenal response with over 400 registrations over the two days of the programme.
The Pune trials are scheduled on April 5th and 12th, 2015, at the DSK Dream City Football Fields, DSK Dream City, Loni. Last year, the Pune trials were a great success, where more than 400 young players showcased their talent.
Head Coach Dave Rogers and Academy Coach Michael Rice will supervise the trials which will select players to form the squad for the 2015-16 season. Over the last year, online registrations have increased by 400%, which has ensured that a huge turnout is expected on both the days.
Players from across the country will travel to Pune for an opportunity to be a part of the world class footballing set-up. The selected candidates will form two groups of Under-19 (Born on or between 1st Jan 1997 and 31st December 1998) and Under-17 (Born on or between 1st Jan 1999 and 31st December 2000), respectively.
