Liverpool beat Sunderland with two fantastic goals from Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge

Steven Gerrard scored a sensational goal last night against Sunderland at Anfield.

Having won a free-kick near the centre, the Reds captain stepped up and let fly a fantastic shot that curled over a wall that frankly didn’t do much to stop the shot. The diving Vito Mannone had no chance.

But that wasn’t the only great goal of the match! Daniel Sturridge scored a second in the second half with an absolute curler into the top corner in front of the Kop!
