Malaga sign Mexico goalkeeper and World Cup hero Guillermo Ochoa

La Liga club Malaga have reached an agreement to sign Mexico goalkeeper and 2014 World Cup hero Guillermo Ochoa.

A three year deal was signed for the 29-year-old, who will take Willy Caballero’s spot after the Argentine signed for Manchester City this summer.

Ochoa comes in as a free transfer after his contract with Ajaccio expired at the end of the 2013/14 season. He will be officially presented to on Friday at La Rosaleda.

He is an experienced campaigner with 63 international caps.

The El Tri shot stopper shot to fame during the recently concluded World Cup with stunning performances that helped the North American nation reach the knockout stages of the competition. His saves against host nation Brazil made him a world wide sensation almost overnight.
