In Liverpool’s last game of the 2013/14 campaign in a friendly encounter against Shamrock Rovers at Aviva Stadium, Manchester United found yet another way of trolling the Scousers, especially Liverpool and England skipper Steven Gerrard.
The Red Devils’ supporters sent another banner flying above the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. This time the banner displayed a message saying “GIGGS 13 GERRARD 0 MUFC 20TIMES”.
Even though Steven Gerrard didn’t play Liverpool’s last game of the season, the banner would remind him of how he let the title slip away and handed it over Manchester City.
This was the last banner that flew over Anfield to troll Liverpool and captain Steven Gerrard.
