Daley Blind’s move to Manchester United from Ajax for a reported £14million has been confirmed by the club’s official twitter account.
The Premier League club has been linked with the Netherlands defender throughout the summer, and will be United’s fifth major signing after the transfer of Angel Di Maria, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw.
Blind, technically a defensive midfielder, can also play as a left-back, and has already worked with United boss Louis van Gaal during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
