Manchester United have agreed to a deal to rope in 17-year old goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic from Serbian club FK Vojvodina, the club announced.

The deal will see the teenager head back to his parent on loan for the upcoming season.

United had earlier announced in May that a move had been agreed with the Serbian club for the transfer of the highly rater Milinkovic, who would then be allowed to return to his native to get some valuable playing time under his belt.

Effective to that agreement, Vojvodina club president Zoran Scepanovic today announced the deal from their side whilst speaking in a press conference.

Scepanovic said : "After lengthy talks that have taken place over the past month, we have finally completed negotiations on Monday and we can officially inform the public that our young and promising goalkeeper has joined Manchester United," said Scepanovic.

"He will remain in Vojvodina for the next year, where he will be under the supervision of our experts and coaches from the English football giants, while continuing to train and perform in the jersey of his home club. This is an opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the realisation of this transfer. Can I point out Manchester United's very correct attitude."

Milinkovic stands at 6ft 7, although he just turned 17 earlier this year in February. He currently represents his country at the Under-19 level along with his brother Sergej.
