While Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea were busy with their Champions League preparations this mid-week, Manchester United players were having a team dinner in a restaurant in Manchester.
Manchester United’s poor performance in the league last season cost them the spot this year in the tournament as arch-rivals and five-time Champions League winners Liverpool made their comeback five years later.
