Manchester United transfer rumours: Interest expressed in Sami Khedira and Dybala

Manchester United interested in Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is supposedly interested in signing Sami Khedira from Real Madrid this summer. The German’s contract will be over at the end of this season and he would be free to move to any club of his choice.

Van Gaal’s main objective during the upcoming transfer season will be to bolster his midfield, and the signing of a strong world-class box-to-box midfielder would be ideal. Although Kevin Strootman has been the main target to fill this position, an offer seems unlikely because of his long-term knee injury.

Sami Khedira though would be ideal to fill this role as he has the required experience and form to be good at the position. Another thing that makes Khedira a more alluring target is the fact that he is available for free.

Paulo Dybala prefers Arsenal over other clubs

Another one of United’s targets Paulo Dybala is reportedly leaning toward signing for Arsenal. The Argentine who is being followed by several clubs around Europe, supposedly prefers a move to the Emirates over the other clubs in the Premier League.

Palermo president Mauro Zamparini told Radio Marte: "Juventus and Arsenal have already made the offerings, Pierpaolo Triulzi, the boy's agent, will be in Italy on Friday. My request is more than 40 million Euros."

"Dybala would prefer to stay in Italy, but among the English clubs Arsenal is the first choice of the boy for the way he plays the team coached by (Arsene) Wenger."

Nigel de Jong keeps everyone guessing

United target Nigel de Jong is keeping everyone guessing about his next club, as the player says he is still interested in staying at Milan.

“I haven’t decided yet and I don’t know when I will make that decision," said the former Manchester City player.

“It could be at the end of April or at the end of the season. First of all I want to figure out what Milan’s plans are to get back to being the great club of the past. It’s still too early to say where I’ll be playing next term. It could be Milan or another club. There are several options, as I will be a free agent. I’ll take a little time so that I can make the best decision.”
