Manchester United boss David Moyes has taken Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck and Ashley Young to task after they were pictured dancing in the streets of Manchester in a drunken stupor the same day after their team were beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The United trio returned to Manchester from Germany on Thursday and spent the rest of the evening partying into the early hours of Friday.
Moyes took his players to task at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground and slapped all three of them with fines along with making them do some extra training away from the first team.
David Moyes, whose team sit 7th in the Premier League, will take his players to Liverpool on Sunday to face his former club Everton who currently sit 4th in the league.
