Rumour: Manchester United trying to sign Sneijder in January

Wesley Sneijder has been a long time target for Manchester United

January transfer rumours are starting to show their way again as we get closer to the winter transfer window. Marouane Fellaini, Manchester United’s sole big name player singed in the summer has had a mediocre start to the season and out of favour Shinji Kagawa and youngster Adnan Januzaj have had to step up their game and contribute to the sinking Moyes’ ship recently when the likes of Fellaini and Zaha were hugely expected to perform.

Manchster United have been tracking Dutch International Wesley Sneijder for sometime now and having seen him leave Inter to join Galatassaray, United tried to sign him again in the summer window but failed to do so.

However, latest from the Mirror reports that: Manchester United may launch a £12million January bid for Holland star. The Premier League champions apparently failed with a £6m approach for the Galatasaray playmaker during the summer.

The Turkish club’s sporting director Bulent Tulun said: “Sneijder received an indirect offer from Manchester United, but it was not accepted.”

Old Trafford boss David Moyes could now double his offer.

Do you guys think Moyes should move for the 29-year old former Sir Alex Ferguson’s target?
