Paul Pogba has not had a great time of things at Manchester United

Manchester United’s fastest players have been ranked and according to the list, Pogba is ranked slower than 12 of his team-mates at Old Trafford.

With a top speed of 20.19 miles per hour the Frenchman’s position is shocking considering the fact that he is well known for his athletic prowess. Even Phil Jones has been ranked ahead of Pogba on the list with the Englishman clocking a top speed of 20.20 miles per hour. The last position is occupied by veteran midfielder Michael Carrick with a top speed of just 16.93 miles per hour.

Pogba, who made a world record transfer move from Serie A giants Juventus to Manchester United, has found adjusting to life at Old Trafford a bit tough considering the burden of expectations he has to shoulder in every game.

Being likened to Zidane does bring a lot of pressure along with the fame and it will be interesting to see how Pogba handles it. The critics have been merciless after he struggled to bring the desired level of impact on Manchester United’s overall gameplay in the initial few games.

France’s heartbreaking loss against Portugal in the Euro 2016 final brought negative limelight on him after he struggled to replicate his domestic form at the international level. He has scored just twice after starting all 11 league games for the Red Devils.

Although his Europa League form has been satisfying with 2 goals scored in 4 games, the fans will be expecting him to spearhead the team’s play in the right direction on a consistent basis. 85.6% is his current pass success percentage which is decent enough but can be improved upon in the next few games.

2.8 aerial duels per game have been won by Pogba in the league so far while just 1.8 have been won in the Europa League. With 2 man of the match performances in the league so far, the fans will be hoping that he can push on and deliver the same performances that he displayed in those fixtures even in the future games.
