While playing for Lazio in a match against Napoli, Klose can be seen waiting in the penalty area for a kick, as he hands the ball into the goal. Napoli players appeal but the referee allows the goal for Lazio.
Klose realizes his mistake and displays great sportsmanship as he walks to the referee and tells his that it was a hand ball. The goal is disallowed. Napoli players laud Klose’s gesture and he also earns the respect of the opposing fans.
