Mohammedan Sporting defeat East Bengal 2-0 in practice match

As a part of the preparation for the 2014 All India Kalinga Cup Football Tournament, Mohammedan Sporting Club played a practice match against East Bengal on Tuesday morning at East Bengal’s Club Ground, which Mohammedan Sporting Club won 2-0.

Meanwhile a final list of 18 players for the Kalinga Cup 2014 has been announced by the chief coach Tope Ayodeji Fuja, and the team will leave for Cuttack, Odisha on Wednesday.

The 18-member squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers - Naseem Akhtar, Sheikh Sadekuddin

Defenders - Sunil Kumar, Ugochukwu Godswill, Gour Naskar, Rajib Ghosh, Prem Kumar, Lal Daniela

Midfielders - Md. Irfan Khan, M. Basanta Singh, Phoolchand Hembram, Kamran Farooque, Imran Khan, Bijoy Mandi, Alfred Jaryan

Forwards - Somide Adelaja, Ashim Biswas, Wasim Raja

Chief coach - Tope Ayodeji Fuja

Goalkeeping coach - Sudip Sarkar

Team manager - Belal A. Khan
