The Nepal National football team continued its poor form as it lost to Philippines 0 – 3 in the international friendly match held at Doha, Qatar. After the disappointing 0 – 2 lost to Yemen in the previous international friendly a month ago, team Nepal was expected to bounce back with victory against the South East Asian neighbor, Philippines.

Curt Dizon scored in the 15th minute for the Azkals while Martin Steuble scored for Azkals in the 33rd minute of the match. Ruben Doctora scored the third for the Philippines to wrap up the match in the dying minutes of the second half.

The Azkals were the superior in every aspect of the game and the Nepalese were no match for them. The lack of fitness and technique was clearly spotted in the Nepalese side which is preparing for the SAFF Championship 2015 and International friendlies are part of the preparations.
