Video: Official FIFA 16 TV commercial released by EA Sports

Lionel Messi features in the official FIFA 16 TV commercial

Ahead of the release of the new FIFA 16 game, EA have unveiled their new official TV commercial for the much-anticipated game. The video looks amazing and features some of the most famous sports icons.

Lionel Messi and Kun Aguero are the first two people to feature in the commercial where both the Argentines are seen in motion sensor suits showing off their skills. The video goes on to cover the reactions of various people from varying age groups playing the game.

Although FIFA is available on all platforms, they have a lot of exclusive features just for Xbox One and indirectly advertise the gaming console by continuously flashing the controller during the course of the video.

FIFA 16 is the first game to feature women's team, and this was implied in the video when US women’s football team striker Alex Morgan made an appearance. Morgan was mostly seen in her in-game avatar and was dribbling past the opposition defence.

Other people who were seen in the video were footballing legends Pele and Basketball icon Kobe Bryant. While Bryant is commonly seen in several football-related Nike advertisements, the NBA star made an appearance in the latest FIFA trailer as well.

Bryant is also present in EA’s basketball segment NBA 16 where he is an 89 rated shooting guard.

EA has been releasing select statistics from the game regularly and Messi has managed to retain his title of the highest rated player. While the FIFA cover player has nothing to worry about, Aguero only made it into the top 20 list. While a rating of 87 is pretty good, it is surprising as the striker is one of the best forwards in the Premier League and the world at the moment.
