Oscar: PSG stars tried to tempt me to leave Chelsea for French Giants

Oscar

Oscar has become a fan favourite in his two seasons at Stamford Bridge

The Express revealed today that Oscar spoke to fellow Brazilians Thiago Silva and Lucas about the possibility of joining Paris Saint-Germain during Chelsea’s Champions League semi-final match against the Ligue 1 leaders.

“I’m flattered PSG are thinking about me, but I’m happy at Chelsea. Paris are a big club, but I’m happy here,” Oscar told French TV station TF1.

“Lucas, Thiago Silva and I spoke about it a little bit when we met in the Champions League, but there is nothing certain. They know that I’m good at Chelsea.”

Rumours circulated last month that PSG were considering an audacious joint bid for Oscar and Hazard, but Mourinho ridiculed the suggestion, placing a £300 million valuation on the pair.

“No, it’s not irritating. It’s no problem.
“If there is Financial Fair Play, they don’t have the money to buy them.
“If there is no Financial Fair Play, £300m for both, Chelsea have to think about it.”
Oscar has been a revelation in the Premier League since joining Chelsea from Brazilian side Internacional, so it’s understandable that he’s courting interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.
