PES 2015 trailer Launched

Konami studios are going to get real busy in the coming days now that the trailer for the Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 has been released. With PES series being the only significant competition for EA Sports’ FIFA series, anitcipation is high among a certain sector of fans of PES who feel that the latter series is way superior to the former on many accounts, graphics being the main. That said, the new trailer features Juventus and Bayern Munich, with Juventus players taking the driving seat.

PES 2015

It would be interesting to notice how PES fares in the market now that it’s universally known that FIFA has gained the edge over them in the past couple of editions. Though PES can be delighted by the response FIFA 15 got from most users who felt that the career has been cahnged to worse and buying players which remained as one of the primary attractions in FIFA now is a herculean task. The only thing negative about the trailer is the shortage of the clip that shows the gameplay. In the trailer of 48 seconds, the gameplay is shown for only about 28 seconds and the rest of the video is stuffed with the logos and brand identifiers now forgetting the suave line ‘The pitch is ours’. Most notable in the trailer are the moves by Andrea pirlo and Paul Pogba. Pirlo is seen executing a cheeky back-heel pass while Pogba is seen guiding the ball into the nets with a powerful header. Though Konami has managed to sneek in Vidal being foxed by Muller. The graphics as always have been the forte of PES but honestly speaking I’m a bit disappointed with the texture of the grass and the ball which doesn’t look impressive. Though if you look closely you’ll see a Juventus player pointing Alaba to some Juventus banners in the crowd and names of Lahn, Robben, Tevez, etc. in the crown banners. We will only get to know more about the game when Konami decides to launch a full version, more comprehensive trailer of the gameplay. Here’s the trailer:
