Manchester United and PSV played out a dour 0-0 draw at Old Trafford which means both the teams will look to qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament in the last group stage match.

Here are the player ratings for the match.

Manchester United

David De Gea – (6/10)

The Spaniard did not have much to do in the match but handled the balls coming his way fairly easily.

Matteo Darmian – (6.5/10)

The Italian defender had a decent match and was quick to fall back whenever United was counter-attacked by the Dutch side. He was substituted for Juan Mata in the 84th minute.

Chris Smalling – (6.5/10)

Smalling earned another clean sheet for his team and performed the same way he has been doing thus far in the season. But, his attackers let him down as they failed to register a goal.

Daley Blind – (6.5/10)

The United centre-back was strong at the back and was good with his long range passing.

Marcos Rojo – (6.5/10)

The Argentine defender made quite a few runs from the left side, making a number of crosses into the box. He constantly stayed high up on the pitch upsetting the PSV defenders. However, his defensive performance let him down.

Morgan Schneiderlin – (6.5/10)

Schneiderlin was forever involved in the match and played some good balls in the box. His defensive performance was satisfactory to say the least.

Bastian Schweinsteiger – (5/10)

The German workhorse failed to stamp his authority on the game and was nowhere near his best. Fellaini came on for him in the 58th minute.

Jesse Lingard – (5.5/10)

The United graduate’s performance was below par when compared with some of his recent performances. He squandered a couple of good chances as well after getting into good positions.

Wayne Rooney – (5/10)

The United captain underperformed once more and failed to create enough chances for his team. He played some good passes from the midfield, but that was it.

Memphis – (5.5/10)

The Dutch international started the match brightly but failed to build upon the good start as he was nullified a number of times by Arias. He was subsequently replaced by Ashley Young in the 58th minute.

Anthony Martial – (6.5/10)

The Frenchman was one of the bright spots for the Red Devils, especially in the first half where he had a couple of good shots saved by Zoet. However, lack of delivery in the second half meant he finished the match without getting on the scoresheet.

Substitutes

Marouane Fellaini - (5/10)

The Belgian midfielder was brought in to create some chances for the Red Devils with the help of his aerial prowess, but he did not perform up to the expectations.

Ashley Young – (6/10)

The winger played a couple of good crosses in the box after coming on, but they were not met with a proper response in the box by his team-mates.

Juan Mata – (N/A)

He was brought on for Matteo Darmian in the 84th minute.

PSV Eindhoven

Jeroen Zoet – (6.5/10)

PSV shot-stopper made some important saves in the first half. The most important one coming when he dived low to his right to deny Anthony Martial.

Jeffrey Bruma – (6.5/10)

The centre-back had a good match as he restricted the United attacks on a number of occasions and even ran out wide to fill the void created by Arias when the left back opted to move forward.

Santiago Arias – (7/10)

The PSV right-back kept his ex-teammate Memphis at bay for as long as the Dutch winger was on the pitch. He also made use of the space gifted to him by Rojo’s pressing up the field and made few runs down the right flank. He was booked in the latter stages of the match after a clash with Lingard.

Joshua Brenet – (6.5/10)

The left-back had a decent match as he stopped Lingard from making his runs and kept the clean sheet for his team.

Hector Moreno – (6.5/10)

The Mexican defender’s performance was a good one, as he did not allow the United attackers much of space in the final third.

Davy Propper – (6.5/10)

The midfielder formed a strong bond with his other two midfield partners and was good with his crossing as well.

Andres Guardado – (7.5/10)

The Mexican was at his brilliant best in the match. He was given the job of man-marking United skipper, which he did quite brilliantly and helped his team move forward as well. He was arguably the best player on the pitch.

Jorrit Hendrix – (6/10)

The midfielder had an average night, but he managed to keep the United attacks at bay and was quick to distribute the balls when his team tried to break away on the counter. He was substituted in the 60th minute.

Jurgen Locadia – (6/10)

The left winger played quite a few crosses from the left flank and displayed his pace during the counter-attacks as well.

Luciano Narsingh – (N/A)

The Dutch winger was substituted in the 18th minute of the match and was replaced by Pereiro and had nothing much to do as the Red Devils kept the ball to themselves.

Luuk De Jong – (6/10)

The ex-Newcastle forward did not have many chances but did not do much good when he got the ball in the box.

Substitutes

Gaston Pereiro – (6/10)

The PSV number 7 was brought in for Narsingh in the 18th minute and did decent enough from the right wing.

Nicolas Isimat Mirin – (6/10)

Mirin was brought on for Hendrix in the 60th minute and did enough to restrict United from scoring a late goal in the match.
