The Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) are planning a march on 14 August to protest the high ticket prices in the Premier League.

The EPL is one of the most lucrative football leagues in the world with media and broadcast deals themselves worth more than £5 billion. And with so much money in the game, the fans feel cheated because they have to spend so much money to watch a game.

Fans are forced to pay anywhere between £60 to £90 on average when big teams square off in the Premier League, with some tickets even going at rates above £100.

Season tickets are not far behind in burning a hole in fans’ pockets with some clubs even pricing them at more than £1000 per season – almost 10 times that of Bundesliga season tickets. In all. 13 clubs have increased season ticket prices for the 2014/15 season.

The FSF are trying to get as many fans as possible to join the march towards the Premier League and Football League offices. Once there, a delegation will have a meeting with PL officials to discuss their issues.
