Paris Saint-Germain has confirmed that former player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's final payments are being withheld. The Ligue 1 club has claimed that they are awaiting a document from Ibrahimovic's side in order to release his money.
Swedish newspaper Expressen had earlier reported that Zlatan has still not received his final salary and the legal representatives of both sides are looking over the issue that has arisen.
In an interview with French channel SFR Sport this week, the Swedish forward, said, "I miss my last salary from Paris."

The comment initially seemed to address the pay cut that Zlatan took when he joined Manchester United in July on a one-year deal. But Expressen confirmed that he was indeed in a dispute with his former club and was speaking about the last salary that he is yet to receive.
French newspaper Le Figaro was then informed by PSG through an official statement
"The club has always respected its commitments. Forty-eight months of wages have been paid on time.
"We are now waiting for a document the player is contractually obliged to provide us with to release final bonus payment."
PSG press officer Yann Guerin made no comments when reached over the issue by Expressen. The newspaper also reported that Zlatan's legal team was prepared to take the matter to court if necessary.
Reportedly, there was a "loyalty" clause in the 34-year-old forward's PSG contract that would have given him a bonus if he did not sign with another club until after his contract expired on 30 June 2016.

The striker, who has been on a scoring spree for the Old Trafford side since his impressive debut, announced his arrival on social media on the very day that his contract expired as he wrote
"Time to let the world know. My next destination is Manchester United."
The 13-time Premier League champions announced the deal on the next day when Ibrahimovic officially became a free agent. However, Zlatan being Zlatan announced that he would join United, even before the club could confirm it. There is also a possibility of a rift between the 6'5" striker and his previous club, as further suggested in the SFR interview when Ibrahimovic responded to a question about PSG's Champions League hopes saying, "It is not my problem!"
