French giants Paris Saint-Germain are planning an audacious move for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard this summer, despite the Chelsea man being awarded the new number 10 shirt at the club, report the Daily Mail.

PSG have been heavily linked with a move for Hazard recently and there were several reports suggesting that the French outfit would make a bid for the Belgian star after the World Cup.

However, those rumours seemed to be quashed when Chelsea announced this week that Hazard would be wearing the number 10 shirt at the club next season, which was vacant since Juan Mata’s departure in January. The Spaniard occupied the famous shirt for two seasons, before moving for pastures new at Manchester United.

PSG have already raided Chelsea this summer after wrapping up a remarkable £50 million deal for Brazilian centre-back, David Luiz. PSG were fined £49m for breaching Financial Fair Play guidelines only last month, but the warning seems to have not hindered their transfer exploits and they are planning an outrageous £61 million offer for Hazard’s services.

According to the Daily Mail, a Hazard representative met Sheik Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, PSG’s owner in March. The French side can offer Hazard a five-year deal worth £230,000 a week and it is thought that may tempt Hazard to move for a new adventure.

Eden Hazard attempted 210 take ons in the Premier League, winning 132 of them.
