Radamel Falcao resumes training after recovering from a calf injury

Manchester United’s Colombian forward Radamel Falcao resumed training on Sunday after recovering completely from a calf injury. The 28-year-old hasn’t played for the Red Devils in two months. His last appearance was a 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion in October and he is yet to play a full match for the club.

United have suffered a spate of injuries in recent times, with Luke Shaw joining the injury list on Saturday night and the news of Falcao returning to training will bring some relief to manager Louis van Gaal. He was brought on loan from Monaco for a fee of £6 million and had expressed his desire to stay at the club for a longer period of time.

The club tweeted a photo of him returning to training.

The striker himself posted a photo of him resuming training.
