Raheem Sterling and Adnan Januzaj nominated for European Golden Boy award

Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling and winger Lazar Markovic have been named in the list footballers, who have been nominated for the European Golden boy Award for the year 2014. The Jamaican international made 37 appearances for the Reds last season, scoring 10 goals across all competitions. Markovic joined the club earlier this year from Benfica for £20 million.

The players under the age of 21 are considered for the award and the jury to pick the winner includes journalists from among the best dailies in the world like The Times, Sport Express etc.

The list also includes the names of upcoming Belgian star Adnan Januzaj and FC Barcelona B forward Sandro Ramirez among others.

The winner will be announced in December.
