With the new Serie A season just around the corner, we analyse and rank which club has the best jerseys in Italy for the new season.

Let’s find out the 20 home and away kits of this season's Serie A:

#20 Genoa

  • Genoa home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Genoa away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Lotto

What Twitter said:

What we think: Lotto has not changed the home kit and the away kit as much from last season and all the kits look the same – not too impressive to beat any of the other sides in Italy.

#19 Bologna

Bologna home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Bologna away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Macron

What Twitter said:

What we think: Bologna’s kits would have looked way much better if Macron had not played with its texture and minute finishing. The colors of the first kit have blue and red running in stripes but it does not look great. The away kit looks rather bright and in your face.

#18 Cagliari

Cagliari home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Cagliari away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Cagliari third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Macron

What Twitter said:

What we think: Do you think Cagliari fans love Macron as their new partner? We don’t think so. The manufacturer has done a poor job with the three kits and hence finishes on 18th on this list.

#17 Crotone

  • Crotone’s home kit for the new season

Manufacturer – Zeus

What Twitter said: NA

What we think: Crotone have been promoted to Serie A this season and have not disclosed their new kits. Therefore, the club is fighting relegation on this chart as well.

#16 Chievo Verona

Chievo Verona home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Chievo Verona away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Chievo Verona third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Givova

What Twitter said:

What we think: We have seen these three kits before as well from Chievo in the last term. Chievo seems to have no chance for the club this season as they have been seen wearing the last season's kits in their friendlies.

#15 Pescara

  • Pescara home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Pescara away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

    Manufacturer – Errea

What Twitter said:

What we think: Pescara finishes as the 15th ranked team on this list. The newly promoted club have a difficult task to prove themselves in Serie A but their fans will be hoping they can play wth last season’s kit.

#14 Sassuolo

Sassuolo home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Sassuolo away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Sassuolo third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Kappa

What Twitter said:

What we think: The club have a contract with Kappa for the kits and the manufacturer has done well to produce all three kits with a unique design. The home kit is predominantly green while the away kit also has a shade of green. They finish at the 14th spot.

#13 Atalanta

Atalanta’s new home and away kits for 16/17 season

Manufacturer – Nike

What Twitter said:

What we think: Atalanta’s new home and away kits have been rocking the internet. With the fading lines which have come in place this season and solid white, we give them a thumbs up.

#12 Torino

Torino home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Torino away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Torino third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Kappa

What Twitter said:

What we think: Kappa have again gone for the predominantly red and blue colour to all the jerseys for the Torino club. Don't miss out on the bull print on the front! A unique design that only the Italians can pull off!

#11 Empoli

Empoli home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Empoli away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Empoli third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Joma

What Twitter said: NA

What we think: Twitter did not have any tweets about the Empoli jersey but that does not take away from how well Joma have done this season with their three kits. They are going for the old adage - Keep It Simple Silly!

#10 Udinese

Udinese home kit and away kits for this season [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – HS

What Twitter said:

What we think: Udinese’s home kit has a white and black shade to it and looks to classy. However, the third and away kits do not have that same charm, and looks like an amateur team kit.

#9 Lazio

Lazio home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Lazio away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Macron

What Twitter said:

What we think: Macron have given Lazio’s kit an elegant look for the 2016/17 season. The collared look has been continued from last season and the kits do not see many changes apart from the away kit whose collars have been changed into white.

#8 Palermo

Palermo home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Palermo away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Palermo third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Joma

What Twitter said:

What we think: Joma have changed Palermo’s kits to good effect and has brought the club into the top 10. The kits look good with the traditional and modern colours blended perfectly.

#7 SSC Napoli

Napoli home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Napoli away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Kappa

What Twitter said:

What we think: Napoli seem to have the same home kit from last seen with no big changes on the shirt and kept to its classic colours. There is, however, a change in the away kit for the team.

  • #6 Sampdoria

Sampdoria home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Sampdoria away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

    Manufacturer – Joma

    What Twitter said:

What we think: This will come as a surprise for many to see Sampdoria at the sixth place. But Joma seem to have done a great job with both the kits which have been released. The home kit looks stellar in the traditional blue finish and so does the away kit with its classy white design.

#5 Fiorentina

  • Fiorentina home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Fiorentina away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Le coq Sportif

What Twitter said:

What we think: Fiorentina’s two kits have been launched for the next season and both of them look quite stylish. Le coq sportif have done a great job with both the kits which have a collared design and incorporation of the purple colour.

#4 AC Milan

Milan home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Milan away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Milan third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Adidas

What Twitter said:

What we think: The AC Milan kit has the historical and traditional black and red design while the white kit looks similar to an earlier Real Madrik kit. However, the sleeves of the third kit look out-of-place.

#3 Roma

As Roma home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
AS Roma away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Nike

What Twitter said:

What we think: AS Roma have stuck to their colours and done a great job with their two kits that they have released so far. Over the years, their home kit has seen some changes, but this home kit is winning the most applause. The away kit, with the a logo tribute, is also getting huge praise from the fans. The white kit looks absolutely gorgeous.

#2 Juventus

Juventus home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Juventus away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Juventus third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Adidas

What Twitter said:

What we think: Juventus finish as the runners-up in this list. Their home kit sticks to the black and white design and does not see any major changes from last season’s kit. The Old Lady will not be wearing the pink of last season which has been replaced by the blue kit. Their third kit features a zebra print and is similar with the colors of the home kit.

#1 Inter Milan

Inter Milan home kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Inter Milan away kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]
Inter Milan third kit [Pic credits: Footyheadlines]

Manufacturer – Nike

What Twitter said:

What we think: All the three Inter Milan kits look superb. They all have the right kind of colour with a good design. The home kit is similar to their traditional kit but looks sharp as ever. The away kit has a blue shade on the sleeves which gives it a great look. Whereas, the third kit has been winning hearts of the Inter fans because of the different colours, while some people have compared it to a beverage company’s can!
