Bengaluru, Nov 24 Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said on Monday that he is already negotiating a contract extension with his employers, Real Madrid.

Ancelotti expressed his contentment after leading the club to their 10th Champions League title last season and to the leadership of La Liga this current campaign, reports Xinhua.

"I hope to be part of the history of Real Madrid, not just for winning the 10th Champions League. I have a contract until 2016 and we are talking about my renewal," said Ancelotti.

The coach expressed his satisfaction with his players, calling them "the most serious and more professional" he has worked with and also with the organisation of the club.

"Real Madrid is a very well structured club," said Ancelotti, highlighting that the club also enjoyed "formidable brand management".

The Italian said that recent results highlighted the huge transfer fees paid for players such as Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez were justified.

"Bale is one of the most important players in the world and when he is fit, he always plays while James doesn't just have technical qualities, he is also an athlete with great stamina," he said.

The coach said he was a different style coach to his predecessor Jose Mourinho but said the now Chelsea boss was "a great coach" before commenting that coaches these days merited high salaries because of the need to manage a "more complex game".

"In the past squads only had 16 players and played once a week. Now we have squads of 25 players and rotate," he explained.
