Reports - PES 2015 to be released for Wii U

PES 2015

Many Nintendo hearts were broken when it was heard that EA might not be releasing FIFA 15 for the Wii U, but looks like football fans finally have a glimmer of hope as it appears PES 2015 might be released for the console instead.

As reported by Nintendo Everything, some French websites mentioned that PES 2015 will be released for Wii U. This should come as good news for football fans that own a Wii U console. As mentioned before, FIFA 15 is skipping the Wii U this year. However this news regarding PES 2015 are only unconfirmed reports and do not have any guarantee.

JeuxVideo reported that PES 2015 will be released for the PS3, 360, PS4, One and Wii U. The other French website Nintendo-town said something similar on their report about the game. They mention in their report that PES 2015 “arrives on the Wii U”. The websites also came up with the analysis that Konami took advantage of the lack of competition in the console and so made a decision to release PES 2015 for the Wii U. The website even added that the Wii U version of the game will be released at the same time as the other versions of the game. Just how true these reports are, remain to be seen.

If it does turn out to be true, this will be great news for Wii U owners. Not many third-party sports games have given attention to the console with EA ignoring the Wii U completely in 2014. Even 2K Sports doesn’t plan on releasing NBA 2K15 or WWE 2K15 in the Nintendo Platform. Wii U owners sit with their fingers crossed, hoping Konami confirms PES 2015′s availability for Wii U later this week during Games.com and then, Nintendo owners can finally start feeling good about themselves again.
