Robin van Persie could make a shock return to Arsenal in the summer, Daily Mail reports.

Apparently Manchester United manager David Moyes is planning to bring a mass change to the squad at the end of the season, and Robin van Persie, who has been upset since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson and his fellow Dutchman, coach Rene Meulensteen, could be one of the players who get axed.

It has been suggested that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is equally keen to bring the Dutch forward back to the Emirates, and even though Wenger doesn’t really go for ageing players, he might make an exception for Van Persie especially if he’s available for a fee in the region of £15m.

Persie has started 14 matches for the Red Devils this season, scoring 10 times.
