Ronaldo feels Zinedine Zidane has special and unique footballing vision

Brazilian world cup winner, Ronaldo Nazario attended a charity event at a golf course along with former Real Madrid players Guti and Bernd Schuster. However, the spotlight was on Ronaldo, at his charismatic best, who also praised the commendable job done by current Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.

The proceeds from the event will go to research for breast cancer and raise its awareness among the locals. Many important figures attended the event which took place just outside the Spanish capital.

Thursday was the ex-Brazilian number 9's 40th birthday, and he decided to celebrate the special occasion at the event. The former Real Madrid forward, Ronaldo, enjoys playing golf and considers it quite relaxing. Football though remains his first love.

At the event, the Brazilian showed his support for former teammate Zidane Zidane's managerial role at the Santiago Bernebau and mentioned that the Frenchman had "special" and "unique" visions in the game. He also offered his help if and when Zidane needed him.

"Zidane has always had a special and unique footballing vision," Ronaldo said of his former teammate. "I've sent him a few messages but he is busy, though he always knows he can count on me if he needs anything."

The 'Fenomeno' also remarked that the drawn result against Villareal was not a "slip-up" and hailed Zidane's man-management abilities. To control a group of superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, James Rodrigues amongst others is not an easy job, comprehended Ronaldo.

"To call it a slip up is to put too much pressure on the squad."I think the team is doing well under him. Zizou is calm, talks a lot in press conferences and is managing the squad and players well. To control a group like this is difficult, but not impossible."

When inquired about his favoured forward who could link-up to with Cristiano Ronaldo and Bale in the front three in the Los Blancos line-up he preferred not to choose. He mentioned that both of Alvaro Morata and Karim Benzema are good players.

"What's great is that both of them can play well."

Ronaldo spoke about Barcelona, whom he represented in 1996-97 season, as well. Speaking about Messi's injury he said that the Catalan club has nothing to worry about as they have a great squad.
