The video was released by SFR, a French telecommunications company. In the video we get to see a beautiful woman catching the eyes of the Portuguese and Real Madrid striker.
Since the girl appears to be sitting on a balcony opposite to Ronaldo’s balcony, Cristiano tries to impress her by using his physical charms. Just when Ronaldo is about to strip for her benefits, something happens and there lies the twist.
Time and time again, we see superstars from the world of sports being used by the ad companies to spice up their products. And this time the producers at SFR have hit the jackpot by choosing Cristiano.
In his career as a football player, Ronaldo is doing exceptionally well. He has played 28 matches in total this season (including league, Champion’s cup and domestic cup), in which he has managed to be involved in 40 goals. 30 of those goals he has scored himself and has assisted in the other 10.
With 19 goals in 22 league matches he is the frontrunner for the coveted “Pichichi” title which is given away every year in the Spanish League to the highest goal-scorer. Luis Suarez of Barcelona FC has also scored 19 goals so far this season.
So, from the looks of it, things are going quite well for the captain of the Portuguese national football team. Both on and off the pitch Ronaldo has managed to maintain the consistency of his performance. The man, who is famous for being handsome, apart from being an exceptional footballer, will definitely win more hearts after making this commercial.
