Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City all interested in signing Robin van Persie’s son Shaqueel

Arsenal are ready to fight Manchester City and United for the signing of Robin van Persie’s seven-year-old son, according to the Metro.

The youngster, who is currently training with Man City, is keen to pursue a career in football – just like his dad, who has played for both Arsenal and now Man United.

And while City are keen on signing him, Arsenal along with United have reportedly offered Shaqueel terms to join their academy setup.

The Man Utd striker will have a tough decision to make whether to send his son to his former club, where he was developed after leaving Feyenoord, and current club United, or even their rivals, City.

Arsenal have previously made two approaches to sign Shaqueel, but they were both turned down with the youngster said to not be ready to commit to any club.

But things have now changed, and a decision is set to be made in the coming days over his future.
