Manchester United are reportedly planning to make a move for Borussia Dortmund striker, Marco Reus this summer. The 24 year old might follow in the footsteps of his teammates, Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski who are signing for Bayern Munich, and leave the Westfalenstadion. However, the attacking midfielder has publicly stated that he doesn’t want to join Bayern Munich, attracting interest from the Premier League giants.

Reus is valued at £35m and has been in great form for the past two seasons scoring 42 goals and assisting 28 times in 88 appearances. Borussia Dortmund have been falling behind Bayern Munich domestically and many of their players are leaving in search of greener pastures.

Manchester United are yet to appoint a permanent manager, with Louis van Gaal touted to be appointed sometime soon. Various big names have been linked to Old Trafford recently including Reus’ German teammate, Thomas Muller. Reus has a contract with Dortmund till 2017 but Manchester United are reportedly willing to buy him out.
