According to our sources, Manchester United have submitted a bid to PSG for striker Edinson Cavani.
The former Napoli man has played second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic a number of times this season and is willing to find another club.
Although Manchester United are in danger of not qualifying for the Champions League, something PSG can offer next season, Cavani is willing to move to the club if his wages are met.
We also understand that Cavani himself is willing to make the move in spite of signing a five-year contract at the club. But it will also depend on whether the two clubs can agree on a transfer fee.
Manchester United have apparently indicated that Cavani’s wage demands will not be a problem.
Ever since his £55million move to the French club, Cavani has scored 18 goals in Ligue 1 and Champions League this season. PSG are currently on top of the Ligue 1 table with a 13 point lead over second placed AS Monaco.
