A brilliant performance against Chelsea in the champions league has propelled FC Basel’s forward Mohamed Salah into the want lists of clubs like Tottenham and Liverpool.
Salah was scored a goal in both meetings of the two clubs in the Champions League group stage as FC Basel pulled off an improbable double over Chelsea in the group stages. Thanks to his scoring record for the Egyptian national team, he has been nicknamed as “Egyptian Pele“.
Tottenham’s sporting director was reportedly in the stands watching as Basel defeated Chelsea thanks to a solitary goal from Salah in the dying stages of the game.
Rumours have also come out that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is keeping a close eye on Basel’s right winger.The player himself has come out and said that he wishes to play for top clubs like Chelsea,Real Madrid or Manchester United.
