I-League side Shillong Lajong FC have announced the re-signing of Brazilian Uilliams Souza and former Captain Minchol Son besides securing the services of Nigerian Penn Orji, who has been hugely successful in his playing career in India, last playing for ISL finalist Kerala Blasters.

Orji has been playing in India for the past five years with Kolkata giants East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting having previously played for JCT. He has joined the Reds this season boosting the attacking threat of the team.

Uilliams and Minchol wore the red of Lajong in the I-league last season with the former scoring seven goals for the Club and Minchol at the heart of the defence helping the team secure a sixth place in the I-League. Both players are familiar with the Club and cannot wait to play in front of Lajong FC Fans again this season.

The Club will also retain the services of Trinidad and Tobago striker Cornell Glen, who scored 14 goals last season in the I-League.

Larsing M. Sawyan said, "I am very excited about the prospects of the Uilliams, Minchol, Penn and Glen joining a strong Lajong contingent to help the team do better than last season. We hope they live up to the expectations of the Club & Fans and wish them all the very best this year."

Shillong Lajong FC will play its first match of the new I-League season at home against local rivals Royal Wahingdoh FC on January 18, 2015 at 4:30pm.
