The PFA Team of the Year was earlier announced on Sunday as a total of six players from league leaders Chelsea were included in the team. The selected ones from Jose Mourinho’s side were Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Nemanja Matic, John Terry, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic.

Hazard, who is in the front running for winning the PFA Player of the Year this season, has been incredibly named in every PFA Team of the Year since his move to the London side in 2012.

Tottenham’s Harry Kane leads the attack line with Costa as the 21-year old continues to impress critics with his performances. His 28 goals from 37 appearances also keeps him the line for the PFA Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year Awards.

Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, Manchester United’s David De Gea and Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand are the other four inclusions.

League top scorer Sergio Aguero and Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas were the surprise exclusions from the team.
