Manchester United and Barcelona endured a couple of disappointing draws in last night’s football action, with both sides playing out 1-1 draws against Real Sociedad and West Ham United respectively.

United were fairly wasteful in front of goal after West Ham had taken an early lead through Diafra Sakho, even after Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalised for the Red Devils. As for Barcelona, Luis Enrique described their performance as the ‘worst ever under his guidance’ which tells you all you need to know about Barcelona being grateful to come from the Anoeta with a point, especially with a controversial offside decision robbing Real Sociedad of a victory.

Here are the damning stats from last night's football action:

4 – Barcelona are the second-worst team in the league in committing errors that have directly led to a goal. Only bottom of the league side, Granada have made more errors (5).

8 – Barcelona have failed to win their last 8 away games to Real Sociedad, with their last victory at the Anoeta coming in May 2007.

47.7% – Barcelona’s possession against Sociedad was their worst ever in 8 years, since Pep Guardiola took over as manager in 2008.

0 – Barcelona went the entire first half without registering a shot on target, while also not completing a single pass in the opposition penalty box, the first time this has happened this season in all of their games.

4 - In total, Barcelona made 4 chances, their fewest in a La Liga game since March 2013.

165 – The last time Barcelona have been trailing the top of the La Liga table by 6+ points was 165 weeks ago, in May 2012.

24 – Barcelona have won 24 trophies since they last won at the Anoeta. ( 6 La Liga titles, 5 Spanish Super Cups, 4 Copa del Reys, 3 UEFA Champions League trophies, 3 UEFA Super Cups and 3 FIFA Club World Cup titles)

2 – Jose Mourinho has the same number of home wins in the Premier League this season, as he does sendings off. He’s also the first individual to be sent off twice this season in the league.

1990 – Manchester United have failed to win four league games in a row at Old Trafford for the first time since 1990, when Sir Alex Ferguson went on a run of 8 games without a win, what he called his ‘darkest period’ as a manager.

0 – No Premier League team has won a match in Manchester since September, with United going 4 home games without a win, while Manchester City also have played out 3 draws against Everton, Southampton and Middlesbrough at the Etihad.

90 – Diafra Sakho’s goal after 90 seconds was the second-fastest goal Manchester United have ever conceded at Old Trafford in Premier League history.

20 – Manchester United’s points total of 20 points in 13 games, is their worst ever Premier League start to the season.
