Today, we talk about the futures of Juan Mata, Christian Benteke,and Shkodran Mustafi. We have done an in-depth analysis on the English Premier League transfer rumours of 10th August.
Juan Mata to Everton
According to De Telegraaf, Everton are interested in signing Juan Mata from Manchester United. The Toffees are keen on strengthening their squad and have identified the Manchester United star as a potential target.
Experts say: Sky Sports are reporting Juan Mata is expected to stay at Manchester United next summer, but there seems to be mixed reports on this one.
Our take: Juan Mata was expected to leave Manchester United when Jose Mourinho was appointed as the manager, but things haven’t turned out to be that bad. The Spaniard played in the Community Shield match against Leicester. Mourinho admitted after the game that he is expecting Mata to stay at Manchester United next season, and could be an important player with so many matches to be played. Saying that, Mata could still leave if he asks for a transfer, and that remains to be seen.

Christian Benteke to Crystal Palace
Reports in the English media suggest Crystal Palace are ready to reignite their interest in Belgian international Christian Benteke. Liverpool want at least £30m for Benteke, having paid £32.5m to sign him last summer.
Experts say: Liverpool based journalist believe progress is expected this week, as Crystal Palace are keen on completing a transfer before the season opener.
Our take: Benteke clearly doesn’t have a future under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, and didn’t participate in any pre-season friendly games. Liverpool have plenty of options up front, and it’s very unlikely Benteke will get too much playing time. Crystal Palace seem to be determined to get Benteke, and are ready to meet his wage demands. The player is also reportedly keen on a move, and we won’t be surprised if this is wrapped up quickly.

Shkodran Mustafi to Arsenal
Injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel means Arsenal have been forced to sign a central defender this summer. The Gunners have been strongly linked with a move for Shkodran Mustafi, and latest reports suggest Valencia want to sign Eliaquim Mangala before allowing Mustafi to leave the club.
Experts say: Reports in Spain suggest Arsenal are interested in Mustafi, but no bids have been reported yet.
Our take: Earlier, there were claims Arsenal have contacted Mustafi’s representatives, but a lot has been made out of this. Arsenal haven’t made a bid yet, so it’s difficult to say if it’s going to happen or not at this moment. Valencia need to sell players to keep FFP in check, and haven’t received offers for other players so they can certainly be forced to sell Mustafi, but for that Arsenal need to make an offer.
