One of the most influential captains in the history of football, Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard gave his team-mates an inspiring talk during their team huddle post their 3-2 win against Manchester City last night.
It was an emotional scene to watch as Gerrard pulled all his team-mates together after the final whistle was blown.
“This does not f*****g slip now,” he said. “Listen, this is gone. We go to Norwich. Exactly the same. We go together. Come on!”
Certainly a quote which is going down in the history books of English football.
