Tanvie Hans, a 23-year-old girl from Delhi, India is currently playing for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League Southern Division for their Reserves. In 2013, Tanvie joined the Spurs reserve team.

Tanvie Hans, a product of Eves Soccer Academy, had represented Delhi in U-14, U-16 and U-19. It is an unknown fact that she played with boys to get a feel of the game.

Hans was quoted by Tadpoles.in: “Interest grew when I was in Class 11. I was frustrated as I could not find any soccer academy in Delhi.”

She still recalls her Eves Soccer Academy days, where she was shaped by coach Om Chhibber.

“He made me strong, and gave me the platform to play professional football,” said Tanvie Hans.

She was called for the U-19 India Camp at Gwalior in 2008. After a month’s training, she made it through the shortlist. But few weeks before the final squad was announced, the selectors took her aside because she was holding a British passport.

After graduating from Delhi’s prestigious Jesus and Mary College in 2011, she left to pursue Masters from the University of Exeter.

That was the time when she along with Jyoti Ann Burrett, a member of the National team, started playing for the University team.
