Terry and agent confirmed Lampard's exit?

The major speculation revolving around Chelsea FC now is the departure of veteran playmaker Frank Lampard. Captain John Terry inadvertently expressed his remarks about this on his official instagram account.

Terry said that, “Devastated is an understatement.We should retire the number 8 shirt in honour of Lamps. #theheartbeat #hero #legend #hero #goalmachine #friend #ktbffh #cfc #chelsea”

Lampard’s agent Steve Kutner also said about moving out of Stamford Bridge, “At the moment, Frank is only thinking of the present. As far as the future is concerned, the only thing that is certain is that his team will change at the end of the season.”

“Frank wants to play for a great team, fight for important goals and win other trophies.”

Kutner added, “A player of his caliber should continue playing at the highest level. Serie A could be more than just a possibility,” But he stated there is little possibility for a move to China or Russia.

Frank Lampard has been an influential figure in the heart of midfield since his move from rival club West Ham in 2001. He is considered as one of the best midfielders in his generation. Not only famous for his range of passing and work rate but also for his incredible goal-scoring record.

The England midfielder is presently third in the all-time top goalscorers for Chelsea and just one goal behind second placed Kerry Dixon. Age hasn’t diminished his role at Chelsea, he showed again his class in the recent win against Everton, where he scored the club’s both goals and gave them a comeback victory.
